Tips

  • look at the ceiling
  • If you get peanuts, please put the shells on the god damned floor.
  • Pet a nice pup.
  • $2 Tecate is a regular special.
  • Kick Micah Saul in the balls when you are here.
  • Friendly local dive bar, great beer, and sweet bartenders. -Preeti Mistry, Top Chef
  • Pay $15 for a shot of 14 year Oban that is actually just some other whiskey, as if you couldn't tell.
  • Hang out with Secret Society Scooter Club (if you can find them)...
  • Have them open the case for mescal. Goes great with the complimentary baskets of peanuts.
  • First two American Dollars you should spend at this bar. $#1 tray of peanuts. $#2 play something from Transformer on the jukebox. Now you're ready to buy a beer.
  • Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
  • Titties on the wall, golden ceiling, awesome bartenders, tiny lil hole in the wall, puppies everywhere....seriously, great place to get shit canned
  • Count the number of boobies in the wall art and discuss its modern relativity.
  • They let kids in.
  • Peanuts galore!!!
  • Say hello to Deb~!
  • The baskets of peanuts for $1 are a solid deal and make for a great sharing snack amongst friends. Remember to throw your shells on the ground.
  • They have Strongbow Cider on tap, which was surprisingly better than Strongbow in a bottle/can (which is mediocre at best). Solid option for the cider drinkers/lovers or there.
  • The cocktail menu on the wall is always rotating, so even if something's not listed, just ask and they probably will make it for you.
  • Nice sazerac on the menu of this historic bar. Building dates to the late nineteenth century and has an interesting guilded ceiling.
