Tips
- Great new American food. Support bernal heights foodism!
- The goetta for breakfast is a sleeper favorite. I dream of it. The changing lineup of pot pie for dinner is always good.
- Phenomenal local/seasonal fare for supping. It's pretty classy, they serve an amuse bouche.
- The duck pot pie has the butteriest, most delicious crust in the history of pot pies.
- Favorite brunch in SF: goetta with chicaoji and a sous vide egg.
- $20 corkage fee is insane for a neighborhood restaurant. Keeps us from going here.
- Meatballs are always a stand-out.
- The lavender ice cream and chocolate hazelnut Ice cream are amazing!!!!!! Everything tastes the way it is supposed to and everything is amazing!!!!!!!!
- This place is amazing! I also recommend checking out the little grocery store across the street, Harvest Hills Market, GREAT wine selection!
- HSC is the best kept secret on the SF food scene. The brunch rivals any of the top spots in SF especially the house made Brioche French Toast. Great food w/o a wait.
- This place is amazing! Everything tastes incredible - you can't go wrong! And the service is so friendly! This place should be on everyone's "must try" list!
- Impeccable service, amazing food, and an amazing wine list.
- Fantastic food & friendly chefs, what more can a diner ask for? Menu changes every week based on what's fresh, but the house made focaccia is TDF. Opens full time in the new year!'
- Get the pot pie. Everything is good but damn the pot pie is amazing.
- Por pies are fantastic. So is the duck liver pate.
- Fried rice is incredible. Bloody Mary is a meal in itself.
- If the duck tasting menu is available, its a must do!
- Service was unbearable, which is a shame because the food is quite good (tartare and pot pie ). Had to get up and find a waiter to bring water and take our order. 30-45 minute waits between courses.
- Great neighborhood spot with an amazing menu and great employees
- the pot pie is A+ but the dishes are kind of expensive for the portion size
