  • Texas in DC
  • Try the moist brisket, the sausages imported from Kreuz Market or any variety of sides. Most nights of the week bring live music and pitchers of Shiner are always $20. [Eater 38 Member]
  • BLUE BELL ICE CREAM!!!
  • A little piece of Texas here in DC? You can pretend, anyway. Don't forget to try a bottle of Shiner.
  • Brisket and Mac & chz are the way to go
  • As a Texan living in DC this makes me happy!
  • Allow me to put it thus: avoid
  • Eat the brisket. There are other tasty things here, but the brisket is tops..
  • Great BBQ! Some of the best brisket I have had and the Pork ribs are also great.
  • Get there early on Wednesday nights to get a table downstairs for live band karaoke!
  • Pretend you're in Texas. Eat brisket. Drink Lone Star. Do NOT root for the Cowboys.
  • The menu says the red velvet cake feeds two. Really it's so big you could feed four people with a slice. So get it to share. It's delicious.
  • Essentially a tourist trap, but if you MUST go here, stick to the brisket. The ribs are chain restaurant bad, and the rest is sort of "meh".
  • The chicken is the best and the bbq sauce is finger licking good!
  • Don't dine here if the word "moist" makes you uncomfortable.
  • Mondays are All You Can Eat brisket, pork spare ribs, market chicken & sides. I recommend the mac & cheese, sweet potato bourbon mash & corn pudding. Make sure to go there hungry, it's a lot of food!
  • Top 5 Mac & Cheese
  • Beef ribs.
  • Not the place to impress clients. WORST. EXPERIENCE. EVER!
  • Had the brisket tonight at an event.... very moist and delicious.
