Tips

  • Home to traditional favorites like kalua pig and pipikaula short rib. As seen on Travel Channels Man v. Food Nation.
  • This place is very popular, so expect to wait if you come during peak lunch hour. Parking is also limited and you may have to park on the street. But it's definitely worth the stop!
  • Some of the best Hawaiian food on Oahu served here. Pipikaula a must! Remember, it's cash only so come prepared!
  • Must have the pipikaula short ribs!!!
  • Hawaiian comfort food! Get the Fried Butterfish Collar!!!
  • Call ahead (24 hrs) and pick up at 10:30 to beat the rush. For more about this place, google Man v. Food Nation. Best Hawaiian food on Oahu!
  • Pipikaula ribs and fried butterfish collar are my must haves when I go here but I loooove all the food! My favorite Hawaiian restaurant hands down!
  • These people are great. The food is good, and the parking is horrendous. Beware.
  • Get there ribs. Forgot what's it's called! Kalua pig is juicy and flavorful, Lomi salmon is fresh and super good. Poi is sour, not my taste, and the lau lau is nothing spectacular, but still good!
  • $36 for 2 people and stuffed! One of the most incredible meals I've ever had. Get the pig, short rib, and Luau chicken (chicken, coconut milk, and taro leaves)
  • Call to get your order to go on your way to the airport to beat the long lines!
  • Try the Pipikaula Short Ribs - #unreal
  • Say HI to Velma, she rocks!
  • Best Hawaiian food period but only open 10 to 7 Tues to Friday closed on the weekends because they do catering
  • Delicious pork and squid! The short ribs were out of this world.
  • traditional (and I mean really traditional) Hawaiian dishes
  • "Ono" means delicious in Hawaiian and that's exactly how you'll find the lunch and dinner menu. Served family-style, you'll want to try a little bit of everything.
  • (4.5/5) Local hole-in-the-wall on the outskirts of town, frequented mostly by locals, and serving up Hawaiian comfort food. Be sure to try their kalua pork, lomi salmon, and pipikaula short ribs!
  • Such an authentic restaurant. Menu C was amazing. The pork was incredible!!
  • The place to go for authentic Hawaiian food. The ribs were quite good.
