According to the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, children between the ages of six and 14 eat fast food 157 million times a month. Although there are healthy, well-balanced options at fast food chains, the unhealthy options tend to be the most appealing and more common. In addition, not all fast food companies make their meals with the same ingredients. Some fast food chains use harmful chemicals, processing, or added sugar to give the meal its recognizable taste.
