Tips

  • You really can't go wrong here, so pick a roll any roll!
  • Avoid the rock shrimp. Really disappointing.
  • There are two locations staring at each other across 76th St: the restaurant and the sake bar, but they both serve full menus. The sake bar is the only one of the two open for lunch.
  • Tuna tataki salad is delish! And..they do brown rice rolls!!
  • I never saw a Japanese restaurant charge for EACH SLICE of sushi served. $3.25 for each slice (piece) if salmon sushimi. Weird and expensive.
  • Its impossible to take them up on the mayorship as everyone checks in 5x a day
  • Pricey, yet average sushi rolls!! The appetizers were very tasty and delicious - specifically, the ceviche tacos and edamame dumplings... wait staff was attentive and quick, even though short staffed
  • Their happy hour deals are actually amazing! Great prices too.
  • Sushi green tea margarita
  • Happy hour specials were so so. Wondering if the quality has gone down with new ownership.
  • It's nice that they always have fresh sea urchin. Probably feel that this place is more pricy than other sushi joints nearby, but the restaurant itself is very clean and nice compared to others.
  • A little pricy but their sushi is definitely fresh! Try the edamame dumplings and the fish tacos.
  • Really good chicken satay
  • Very excellent sushi and sashimi. Crowded and loud are the draw backs. Nice menu with plenty of options.
  • Spicy tuna
  • Real Nice Japanese food on the 3rd ave not the largest sushi rolls/signature variety but great quality thou... Service is okaish the guy was uptight and a little tensed 6 /10 service overall 8/10 ...
  • Haru is said to have the same food menu as sib Haru Sake Bar, just across 76th Street. Stick with HSB for better sushi (and a fuller bar list.)
  • You can't go wrong with any roll. They're all good especially when accompanied with wine.
  • Sake hour is Mon-Sun, 4-6pm. Discounted wine, beer, & sake as well as select rolls & other small apps.
  • Pretty satisfied/ decent sushi
