Foursquare Tips

  • Saturday morning becomes so fun! Shop at Tower Grove Farmer Market then walk to Heartford for coffee. Pets are welcome at their outdoor seating! They event have a water bowl for your pooch.
  • The coffee is topnotch and fair trade, boasting organic blends from Bolivia, Mexico, Colombia, Guatemala, Indonesia, New Guinea, Brazil, Peru and Ethiopia. http://bit.ly/1ckZUZQ
  • Nicest barriesters in the city! Tip them well
  • Great place to bring kids, with a little place in the back with toys. Also they added a new study room outside next to the garden.
  • By far one of the coolest places to go for a cup of coffee in South City. The people are great and the atmosphere wonderful. The new patio and quiet room make it even better. Ask for Alyssa.
  • The Sammie is the all time best I love
  • Great place for a cold/rainy day with kids. A nice little hangout with great coffee.
  • Great coffee, pastries, lunch specials. The breakfast sammie is cheap and delicious. My favorite coffee shop in town.
  • Hartford's the best! $1 refills when you bring your own mug. Best pumpkin bread, esp in morning when it's still warm. Or ask them to heat it for you. Awesome menu overall. Friendly & great atmosphere.
  • Great local coffee. Buy roasted beans of just have an espresso there. It's definitely solid coffee. Stl is on a good coffee trend these days and it sure is nice to be able to walk some of it
  • Coffee muffins and price is good
  • Excellent iced coffee and the food looks good too!
  • Iced hazelnut latte!
  • The chai is excellent!
  • Everything
  • Grab a drink and stay the afternoon. Great ambiance, music, and beverages.
  • Tasty food and decent drip coffee. They roast in house. Not a big fan of their espresso drinks, but friendly service and roomy atmosphere!
  • Not bad, but far from the best. Tastes a lot like coffee & milk. Strange smell in here too like old copper. They have bands here so maybe this is a cult favorite in this area but not v. good coffee.
  • You will love it. Laid back. Stylish. Good Service. I have wiled(?) away some great afternoons there. They're doing it right.
  • There's a whole section filled with children's books and games, and there are electrical outlets at each table so you can plug in and get some work done.
