Foursquare Tips

  • Be sure to visit the bathrooms...and, no, that's not code. They're just super cool!
  • A 1947 men's department store turned chic downtown eatery. Their summer coolers are refreshing and the right amount of sweet. Be sure to step into the old elevator shaft.
  • If you're a vodka person who likes drinks on the sweeter side, the Huckleberry Lemonade is a must.
  • If you get drunk have a friend take you to the bathroom so you don't get lost in the hall of mirrors.
  • The donuts are like 'oh my god'!
  • they have the coolest bathrooms in phoenix and delicious pizzas. sandwiches are only okay.
  • Please remember that it is tacky and inconsiderate to tip below 18%. Servers get paid less than $5 an hour and tips are our livelihood! Thanks :)
  • Enjoy a Classic Martini. It's $5 any time of day. I prefer to have a Clean Gin Martini (Gin, Vermouth, Lemon, NO Olives). They also serve Petite Martinis for $2.50 after Midnight.
  • Best of Phoenix Winner 2011: Best Basement to Sneak Into! You'll see what may one day be one of the coolest underground spots in Phoenix. Just don't tell them we sent you.
  • When going to the bathroom, look at the crack in the door by the lock to determine if one is open or not.
  • If you like blue cheese, get the gorgonzola slaw. Light, loaded w/ pistachios, and $5!
  • Sit at the bar for a livelier experience...
  • I think the best late night bar in Phoenix!
  • The pizzas are the size of the menu but oval..best for two people to share.
  • Don't miss the $5 classic martini or the snack plate!
  • The basement is NOT cool. Do not go down there unless you want to have nightmares
  • Go to the basement. DO IT!
  • Love the live DJ!
  • Monotone and spare, Hanny's generates its charisma from the intentionally cold, low-key details. Superior, wallet-friendly bar food served alongside some of Downtown's better cocktails.
  • English Garden. Drink it. Love it.
