  • Start your meal with Pigs feet( Grilled Pork Tonsoku), famous Gyoza. Must order Hakata Tonton hotpot. Go after 10pm for a small or no wait.

  • This joint kills me. Must get the hot pot, their sashimi apps are great too. Highly recommend the prix fixe which is a great deal and a TON of food. Great for bringing picky asian parents too.

  • Favorite japanese place in the city hands down. If not getting the hot pot (or as an addition) then be sure to try the garlic fried rice and the yuzu tonton pork! Gyozas are great too
  • Get the hakata tonton hot pot obviously. Add rice/egg to the broth at the end for some kind of bibimbap like dish.
  • Try the Hakata Tonton Hot Pot - A specialty of Hakata, Japan. Collagen broth, tofu, dumplings, vegetables, berkshire pork belly and tonsoku. Love it
  • Kampachi too salty today...
  • Hot pots are a must. The spicy tuna carpaccio is one of the best things I ever tasted.
  • Try the Green Tea Sweet Tofu - One of best dessert for anyone who wants less sweet & more healthy dessert :) ( the green tea is unsweetened )
  • Try the Scallop Mentaiko
  • Cozy little spot that serves up unexpected treats. Specializing in pig's feet, I'd recommend everything on the menu. -John W.
