Foursquare Tips

  • The quiche is really tasty and a hearty helping. They don't always seem to have it, but if they do, it's worth trying.
  • Get the Pioneer Platter. All of your breakfast favorites. And come hungry!
  • The biscuits and gravy are tasty, fluffy and huge. If you get here early enough in the morning you have a vegetarian gravy option.
  • The Guenther Platter was great. Go on a Saturday morning and sit outside.
  • Strawberry lemonade is the best ever!!
  • Sitting outside is so Southern reminding me of my grandparents home in Corpus Christi!! Ask for honey for your coffee and you get it in a little ceramic pitcher. Yea!
  • Come early for breakfast or late for lunch to avoid the wait. But the grounds and free coffee make a wait more pleasant than usual.
  • Their coffee is off the heezie
  • Club Sandwich is great... and try the fresh strawberry lemonade.
  • Come early or biscuits will be gone :)
  • Amazing history here. This place is absolutely charming during the spring. Free coffee and water at the front of the house. Try the chicken breast sandwich with avacado, it's amazing!!!
  • Nice place. The breakfast its over rated. Seems to me like a regular plate (I ordered the Pioneer's Plate). However, the coffee, the staff, the place it is what makes it a lovely place.
  • Great breakfast and atmosphere!
  • Pancakes and memosa's
  • Beautiful place of local historic significance. Which is why I'm mesmerized by the no fewer than 8 flies buzzing around our table right now - inside.
  • Inside is still as good as outside! Also anyone who has a sweet tooth will LOVE the strawberry waffles!
  • Early bird gets the biscuit. Avoid the wait by arriving no later than 8 am.
  • It USED TO BE awesome, NOT anymore.
  • Biscuits and gravy are the best I have ever had!!!!!
  • Yummy biscuits and blueberry muffins.
