Tips

  • My favorite restaurant at the moment. Try the fish experience.
  • You can tell how good a place is by the way it keeps the toilets. This place doesn't have toilets, it has works of art.
  • Nautalundin er kjafti!
  • ! !)))
  • Locally grown meat, straight from our farmers. The Icelandic Lamb is out of this world, you can taste the blueberries and arctic thyme that they eat during their outdoor life in the wilderness.
  • The lobster, oh, the lobster.
  • Try the whale steak appetizer. It tastes like a combination of tuna and lamb with a a very hearty consistency.
  • Fancy drinks. Great service. Amazing food. Our vegetarian was even satisfied!!
  • The grill combination of lamb, duck and steak is a huge win. It's the perfect amount post app.
  • I felt bad about eating whale but it was delicious, the horse was fantastic, make sure it medium rare more on the rare side
  • Somewhat hidden off the road, head back through the courtyard for a gem of an Icelandic steakhouse. Be hungry.
  • Dinner alone? No problem, the kitchen provides more than enough visual entertainment and you might just strike up an amazing conversation.
  • The bread comes with a very soft butter and volcanic salt. It's best to dip in the better rather than spread and dab the salt. It's like an amazing pretzel.
  • I thought it was really average. Shellfish soup was too strong, duck breast main wasn't anything special either. Just didn't do it for me at all. Service average too
  • Food and service here is the best in Iceland. Note to self: I really should come here more often.
  • Great BBQ meat and delicious whale meat:)
  • The Chilli Passion cocktail is devine!
  • Best place to eat in Reykjavik! Good local beer and excellent food!
  • It's a good place for a steak, a lobster, a lamb, the whale, or anything really. The chefs truly cook with passion and are good at it. It doesn't come cheap though and booking ahead is recommended!
  • Must try the horse meat. It is amazing...
