COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
Green Mustache is a new line of organic, fruit and green veggie juice smoothies designed especially for children. We have two rules when it comes to getting kids to eat healthier: make it fun, and make it taste good. Made with real fruits and vegetables, our superfood smoothies are naturally packed with antioxidants, omega-3s, calcium, iron and fiber. Each bottle provides one serving of fruits and one serving of veggies from spinach and kale, as well as super ingredients chia and coconut water.
Kid-tested and approved, all four delicious Green Mustache flavors—Mixed Berry, Orange Mango, Strawberry Banana, Tropical Twist—are USDA certified organic, Non-GMO Project Verified, vegan and gluten-free. Clearly we care about what's in our juice smoothies. But, we care just as much about what's not in them: no pesticides, chemical fertilizers or GMOs (genetically modified organisms), no added sugars, no preservatives, and no artificial colors or flavors.
Being certified organic is a high bar to reach, but we are committed to ensuring the superior quality and safety of our ingredients because our children deserve only the best! It's so much more than a simple drink—it's like a light at the end of the "eat your veggies" tunnel!
As a socially-minded company, we also commit 1% of sales to non-profits that address childhood hunger and malnutrition worldwide.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Brand Ambassadors will be responsible for selling into a targeted list of stores/businesses, in-store merchandising, and helping to execute local marketing events and in-store and direct-to-consumer sampling events.
We are looking for outgoing, friendly individuals who are passionate about our mission and brand to join our team for Summer 2014. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in working at a start-up and eager to learn and grow with the business. Sales experience is a plus as this position will include lots of store visits, selling Green Mustache to both retailers and customers, and giving out samples of Green Mustache. The internship is designed to provide an educational experience and involves many opportunities for professional development. Opportunity for part-time/full-time employment based on performance. Possible to earn school credit.
WHEN? Position begins Monday, May 26th (some flexibility on exact date) and ends Friday, August 15th. There will be occasional work on nights and weekends to support promotional events.
