Was fortunate enought to be in the inaugural dinner group at Artisans.
What a great refreshing concept. The kitchen area is open and visible from every table in the place. The bar is awesome, and the menu was excellent.
The appetizers were great. The Foi Gras and scallops were to die for.
Our group tried the Sea Bass, the New York Strip, The Tenderloin, and the grouper. I tasted all of the dishes and they were superb. The Sea Bass was the best I have had in Houston... yes, reef is in that sample.
