  • Classic hotdoggery. Get the recession special, two hot dogs and a drink.
  • Recession Special w/ onions & Papaya. Yum!
  • Eat by the window and pretend you are filming a scene from "You Got Mail".
  • This relentlessly yellow hot dog joint hops 24 hours a day and is a symbol of Upper West Side cheap eats. Mustard is pretty much required; the only dilemma is choosing between the onions or the kraut.
  • Gray's opened in 1972. Has no place to sit but the turnover is quick. Gray's is featured in films such as 1997 "Fools Rush In" and 1993 Michael J Fox film "For Love or Money." More info in blog.<LINK>

  • Hot Dog @ Gray's Papaya New York
  • Over-rated. The hot dogs are small and not as flavorful as everyone makes them out to be. Value-wise: you get what you pay for.
  • Best Dogs in the city
  • Not what I expected at all..I was looking for bigger taste but this was just your average BBQ dog :/ disappointed
  • Great frank hot dog, but I still like more the Katz's one...
  • Dont fail to give a tip to the UBER friendly Pinoy Staff
  • Recession special with pia colada... Great quick cheap fix. Yeah!
  • Dogs, dogs...have some dogs.
  • Drink the pineapple juice! Delicious!
  • Don't eat more than one if you are goin to be with someone in an enclosed space for awhile afterward. The hot dogs without the buns are actually gluten free!
