Foursquare Tips

  • Eclectic and artsy stationary trailer that serves naan freshly baked in their tandoori oven, as well as other authentic Goan dishes from Goa, India. We suggest the Rechard Masala Shrimp.
  • Our favorite dishes here are the dahl makhani (lentils in a creamy sauce) and Malabar (lamb, coconut, onion). The level of spiciness here depends on who's in the kitchen, so it's a good idea to ask.
  • I could just eat piles of garlic naan here and be happy.
  • Great food - get the samosas for the appetizer; tikka masala, rogan josh, or saag for your entree; and add a side of naan. Open for dinner until midnight/2am. Also, BYOB!
  • Try one of everything! Soo goood!
  • Great food - they struggle to get take out orders out in reasonable amount of time though.
  • Don't expect to eat indoors.
  • get the rose lassi. you won't regret it!
  • If you're headed to Rainey for the night definitely start here for a great meal and your own brew.
  • One of the best chai in austin :)
  • Order less than you think + share! Everything is fantastic + the portions are big. (I vote saag paneer.)
  • Be warned, they don't sell alcohol, so bring your own. Don't panic if you didn't, you can buy a bottle of wine from Clive (bar) across the street.
  • Lots of good vegan options, unfortunately the naan isn't vegan though. You will need to request no butter on the rice
  • Puri puri was a joke. Cold, 3 garbanzo beans in flimsy shells. Not worth it.
  • For being Goan and asking for "extra spicy" my vindaloo tasted less spicy than my mom's spaghetti sauce and servings were tiny. Skip it and do Bombay Bistro instead.
  • Their food smells great, not had it yet, but the service, the service is sooo poor. More cooks, servers, a manager, please? I hear the food is amazing but yeah, this is a problem.
  • Insanely slow service! Be prepared to wait a LONG time. Brought out my entree before my naan.. For real!?
  • It's BYOB!
  • SAAG PANEER XXX spicy.
  • Saag Paneer & Garlic naan with Indian tea = awesome
