While you were off grilling and lounging by a pool this weekend, chef Gordon Ramsay was doing something worthwhile like kicking around a soccer ball for charity.

Ramsay, who was reportedly a trialist with the Rangers back in the day, played alongside Will Ferrell, Gerard Butler, and Mike Myers against England's soccer players at the Soccer Aid match benefiting UNICEF. An hour into the game, however, Manchester United's Teddy Sheringham crashed into Ramsay, and the chef was taken out of the game on a stretcher.

The outspoken chef is just fine, however. Early yesterday Ramsay tweeted that he's out of the hospital, a "bit sore but fine." Check out the painful clip below.
