Tips

  • Golden Gardens includes a stretch of beach with classic views of Puget Sound and mountains, a little loop trail, a fishing pier and at its northern end, an off-leash dog zone.
  • Walk, stroll or simply sit at this beautiful beach overlooking Shilshole Bay. During the day, families and couples walk their dogs or play volleyball, basketball or Frisbee on the sandy beach.
  • Awesome views, great for picnics and fire pits
  • Beautious. ;)
  • We dare you to have a picnic on the beach at Golden Gardens and then go fishing off the pier.
  • one of the loveliest views in the Pacific North West. There's a beach, grills, a pier for fishing and my fave set of trees in the city of Seattle.
  • Aside from watching a sunset from a ferry boat, Golden Gardens is second to none. Come early to picnic. Buddy-up with strangers at a bonfire. Drink until the sun sets behind the Olympic Mountains.
  • Perfect place for taking sunset pictures
  • Nice place! It'd be better if weather is warmer!!
  • Don't come here at any time close to a popular day. Too busy to enjoy.
  • Check out the duck pond and rope swing on the north side.
  • This is the best beach in Seattle- make sure you walk to the far north end of the park for great views of the Sound
  • Contemplation and seascapes go hand in hand, especially when your toes are in the sand
  • Parking nightmare. Don't even attempt the main lot in the summer, go to the upper lot and walk down.
  • Enjoy the beautiful beach, crab fish off the pier, and enjoy some halibut and chips at Coney's. This is my fave spot in Seattle so far.
  • Great sunset and hiking
  • Nothing special here. Just water. I see water coming out of the faucet every day.
  • Good spot to watch the sunset with your sweetheart. All that's missing is a glass of Champagne
  • "don't forget to bring a towel!" -towelie
  • It's often windy and a little chilly here - even on warm, sunny days, so be sure to bring a sweater. Powered by ParentsConnect.com
