Foursquare Tips

  • Beer + Pies = :-)
  • Great selection of ales, beers and ciders. Get a classic pie and mash with your drink, while you watch the cricket.
  • Great sized bar/resto off of Hollywood - for HK this a rare thing indeed!
  • The meat pies: nom nom nom!!!
  • Shame about the dumb manc with glasses
  • If you go to the restroom during a song you like, you won't be able to hear it. Time it accordingly.
  • Great bloody mary and great ciders!!!
  • Bloody Mary so good.
  • Phone reception crap..
  • Get one of the pies, like the steak and kidney.
  • The Globe has a rotating selection, from yuzu-scented Kagua Blanc to draft Mikkeller or Rogue. Like all their beers, the selection is updated regularly, so the lineup does change.
  • A good selection of craft/microbrews in bottle and a seasonal beer list makes this a worthy stopover for beer lovers.
  • Might be the only place in Hong Kong with cask (ie: real) ale, and it's from HK microbrewery Typhoon no less. Very nice. I like.
  • Try the T8 beer; locally brewed and possibly the only hand-pumped beer in HK!
  • Get a pie, but don't forget to save room for dessert!
  • Too vast, too crowded, too noisy : looks like a school dining hall. Neither warm nor cosy. Beef burgers taste weird because of the beetroot. Pro : waitresses are really nice.
  • T8 draught is rather amazing. Pleasant place.
  • great selection of beers, ales and CIDERS!
  • Prob. the best selection of craft beer in a bar on HKI and a good spot to try local brews like Gweilo. Happy hour from 9am-8pm, bright and clean with nice ambiance, and - I've heard - solid food.
