Ah Christmas, a time of never ending eating and gift giving.
Instead of giving your family mediocre presents and choking down your mom’s less than satisfying feast of the seven fishes this year, give your family the gift of a delicious Christmas Eve dinner at Terrine.
Terrine, by Stephane Bombet the same guy that brought you Faith & Flower, Picca, Mo-Chica and Blue Tavern Restaurant, is finally here to bring you delicious and creative French inspired plates with a hint of California to them. After all, what better way to spend the holidays than with a fantastic dinner cooked by the fantastic chef Kris Morningstar?
It’s a little on the expensive side, but just trust us, it’s the best way you’ll spend your money all year. You’ll get to start out with bites like Chicken Fried Pork Rib, the Onion Soup and Smoked Tuna Tartar Crostini. Then you’ll get to enjoy tasty pastas like the Veal Meatballs with Buckwheat Strozzapretti and Brasserie Pizzas like the mushroom, sage, and truffle cheese pizza, all on their beautiful outdoor patio garden.

If you’re looking for something a little more substantial there are some heartier items on the menu as well, like the 10oz Onglet Steak or the Boudin Noir. If you’re really looking to spoil yourself this year, split the 32oz Coute de Bouef with your favorite relative or get the Choucroute Garnie that comes with house sausage, pork loin, crispy jowl, shank and housemade kraut. Christmas doesn’t get much more decadent than that.
