Foursquare Tips

  • Don't tell the bartender how to do their job. They don't come to your job and slap the dick out of your mouth.
  • Probably the best bar you'll find in Wrigleyville. Decent crowd (ie not douchey or fratty), decent selection of beers on tap for a decent price and a jukebox with good alt/ indie rock tunes.
  • Mock all the fraternity jocks walking by the coolest bar in Wrigley
  • Best bar in Wrigleyville
  • Refreshingly unpretentious, this beat-up bar is the perfect place to escape fromor mentally prepare forthe insanity of Wrigleyville with a game of a pool.
  • One of my favorite bars in Chicago if not my favorite. Dope beer selection, good crowd, and they have a straight up punk juke box. Menzingers, against me!, and descendants plus more.
  • Free pool Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday!
  • If your strapped for cah go with the $3 PBRs or I'd go for the Rogue draft if you have some cash to burn. Staff is amazing. Probably the best dive bar in Chicago.
  • Don't put on Astro-Zombies by the Misfits. It's overplayed.
  • i have found that this is the place to go before/after a show at metro. the band usually stops by too.
  • Best place in wrigleyville. New owners have put in a music stage in the back room for live performances.
  • One of the only acceptable bars in Wrigleyville. Say 'hi' to Brendan on Mondays, get sloppy on whiskey. Reliable Tamale Man spotting place after Metro shows.
  • No longer cash only--$20 minimum though.
  • Hipsters only spend Ca$h
  • Bartender is total bitch.
  • Good spot to go before a show at the metro
  • The first bar with Young's Chocolate Stout in Chicago I've come across
  • Good cider selection.
  • Fantastic spot. Drink here before the Metro.
  • Lively spot for a drink. Windows open for easy people watching on Clark. Cubs fans welcome!
