Foursquare Tips

  • The first two hours in the parking deck are complimentary. Street parking is not.
  • Poutine with pastrami at the General Muir puts French Canadian cuisine and self-indulgence with a side of gravy on CLs 100 Dishes to eat before you die.
  • The cheesecake is firm where others are too soft, & tangy to offset its inherent richness. It's rare to call a classic a game-changer, but this dish has earned its spot as one of the 100 best in ATL.
  • There's a long list of things it does as well as (or better than) anyone in town: burgers, espresso, cheesecake, bagels, lox, sticky buns...Shall we go on? 2013 Best of Atlanta Critics pick.
  • The AJC staff raves about the pastrami on the poutine.
  • Chef Todd Ginsberg's take on the Reuben is a fatty, salty, comforting sandwich that's not only worthy of the nation's best delicatessens, but also CL's list of 100 best dishes to eat before you die.
  • The pastry basket is like crack.
  • The pastry basket was amazing and carb free, right?
  • The roast beef sandwich was killer. The fries? Out-of-this-world. Hello sea salt! And the cheesecake? Yum. Don't even get me started on the incredible staff.
  • This alternative take on burger toppings with pastrami, Russian dressing, gruyere cheese, pickles, and caramelized onions, makes this one or Atlanta's must try burgers.
  • A heady mix of Emoroids, other rich people, hipsters, and aging Yankee transplants. In other words: order your food and do not engage.
  • Should have more of there sandwiches available earlier for people trying to get lunch.
  • One of the best burgers I've had. Awesome service - Justin is the man. Life-changing ice cream sandwich that isn't necessarily on the menu!
  • Excellent service, incredible space & delicious food! The restaurant is open, clean & bright. Parking is easy as well.
  • I'm in love with the pastrami sandwich. Get it with chicken liver spread!!
  • You can count on the prune stuffed gnocchi in oxtail ragu with carrots and Brussels sprouts.
  • Finally. Found somthing not worth your money!! Black and white cookie is just ekk disappointing! !!
  • The food was good, but pricey. Service was friendly, but easily confused and they didn't check on our table much. Nothing "New York" style about this place except that they serve pastrami.
  • Cheesecake is a must. Very firm and rich. It goes along with reg coffee very well
  • Lunch and brunch attract large crowds and the eatery's no-reservation policy during these times can translate into long waits.
