Foursquare Tips

  • Cold beers, awesome bartenders, good dart games in the back and usually a fun mix of people on the weekends. Best Irish Bar up in these here parts.
  • An authentic Irish (Cork!) bar, low key and laid back. Say hello to Johnny or Brian and tell 'em Steve recommended the place on FourSquare and you might get the regulars' buy back rate!
  • #9 on tap. Golden tee. IRISH tenders.
  • Gotta live Jon the barman, irishman from cork, great guy.
  • great bar to play darts... on Fridays its a darts fest! good mix of beers too
  • The awesomeness!
  • 3 boards. Good sports on TV (midweek EPL + Yankees) all week. OK tap. Nice bar to stop in for a couple if you're not tossing darts. Otherwise, great spot for the NYDO if you're into that. @howtodewitt
  • As have never been invited to the bar with the Hot Bartenders - I'll just stick to tThe Gaf with John, the hot MALE bartender!!
  • Brian and Jon are both the jam! Stop by and have a true Guinness with these boys! If you enjoy darts this is the place to be on the upper east side. At true home away from home.
  • Great place on the weekends!
  • A sad reproduction of the old Gaf in a smaller space. The unfortunate effect being a high concentration of dickheads that was previously diluted by ample space. Dart night is a definite "no go".
  • Best bar on the UES but they are now on 1st Avenue.
  • 4 Square wrong. Not a Dive Bar. Most authentic low key Irish Pub on UES. Owners from Cork. Open 5:00-4:00am every day. No food. Not frats or b&t. Great juke box, Murphy's and Guinness. Darts.
  • No longer serving Guinness serving poor mans Guinness, Murphy's dirt dirty Murphy's
  • Sunday NFL specials are terrific. Happy Hour prices and free Subway sandwiches. Plus Ralph (days) and Pat (night) great bartenders who understand buy back if you understand appreciation. No frats.
  • The real Mayor is Peter Jackson!
