Foursquare Tips

  • Don't get the mimosas! Its fake oj and really not impressive.
  • The shrimp and grits are quite possibly the beat grits you'll ever have anywhere.
  • The burger, made with Slagel Farm beef, is perfection, and the lollipop wings, breaded chicken drizzled with buffalo sauce and ranch, make eating classic bar grub a more civilized affair.
  • Chef Brian Jupiter's ballsy food (e.g., a Super Bowl option to order a whole animal that feeds 10-15 people for $400), adds another component to the mix.
  • Avoid the Alligator Ribs. They are quite fishy tasting. No bueno....
  • Try the Buffalo Heart Sliders with bone marrow aioli and a fried green tomato...possibly my favorite burger ever!
  • The wild game options on this menu are second to none in the city. With portions for any size group, it makes for a enticing party option. Excellent beer/cocktails and side patio are nice accents.
  • Had a whole pig for a party. Good meat with super tasty Mac and cheese and corn bread. Boy scout cocktail is tasty. Be prepared to wear your stretchy pants because you will over eat.
  • Love the small plates to share concept. Try the kale & apple salad or the duck tacos
  • Great beer selection, can't go wrong with the pulled boar sandwich!
  • Bring an army and get a whole boar. Fricking outstanding.
  • If you like a spicy Bloody Mary, you will not be disappointed here. And, the Mac & Cheese is top notch.
  • Great place to hang with the locals and watch a game! Unique food choices like an awesome Ahi Tuna sandwich.
  • WiFi password is: tonsilpaint1072 You're welcome
  • Good spicy Bloody Marys. Could use more garnish though.
  • Chef Brian Jupiters rustic cooking sets this woodsy sports bar apart from the pack. Through Lent, Jupiters offering a $10 Friday fish fry for dinner only, which comes with hand-cut fries.
  • Every other Wednesday is SPEAKEASY... hidden upstairs, specialty cocktails and an attractive cast of characters... classic jazz... you need a password to get in.
  • Full roasted boar..... Get 12 people and get fucking down
  • Just how rustic is it? Well, there is one stuffed bear vs. eight large flat-screens. You be the judge.
  • The Mac & Cheese is a must.
