Freschetta Rolls Out Three New Pizzas

It appears as if every week the frozen pizza stakes rise a little more. Freschetta has just thrown their hat in the ring, and have released three new frozen pizzas.

The company, which is owned by Schwan's Consumer Brands, has rolled out Brick Oven Chicken Club Pizza, Naturally Rising Margherita Pizza, and Naturally Rising Sausage and Pepperoni Pizza.

The chicken club pizza comes topped with white meat chicken, bacon, tomatoes, spinach, and white sauce. The "brick oven"-style crust comes from being baked in a high-heat oven, which makes it crispy on the outside and tender inside.

The two other new pizzas come on a "naturally rising" crust, which apparently resembles fresh-baked bread: crispy on the outside, and light and airy inside. The Margherita pizza comed topped with mozzarella and tomato sauce, and the other contains pepperoni and "hand-pinched-style sausage," according to the release.

The pizzas sell for $6.69. Freschetta's claim to fame is the fact that it uses all-natural ingredients, with no fillers.
