Tips
- The pizza at Floriole Cafe & Bakery is one of the 100 best things we ate this year. http://tmout.us/rLOtk
- Try the pineapple upside-down cake from our 100 Best list:Sandra Holl turns a dessert most associated with the Midwest, the 70s and canned pineapple rings into something lovely and sophisticated
- The wifi password is Croissant
- Agradable ambiente
- I ate the best ham-and-cheese croissant the city has to offer at Floriole. And a cream puff filled with mocha cream so luscious I wished I could bottle it and use it as lotion. -RW
- The word quiche seems too pedestrian to describe this rich, smooth egg custard teamed with locally sourced vegetables, quality cheeses and, occasionally, meats (the selection changes daily).
- The spinach and cheddar quiche was creamy and comforting, and the avocado toast, on their fragrant chewy bread, was simple and delicious.
- Featured on Unique Sweets. The Lemon Meyer Blueberry Galette looks good so does the Cherry Balsamic Brownie. I think the latter is more dairy free than the former.
- So annoying that they shut off wifi here on weekends. Who does that to loyal customers?
- Oh my, the spinach quiche!! They also had delicious Rooibos and a lovely upstairs space to read or get work done. I'll be coming back for the pastries soon!
- Food is amazing, service is forgetful.
- Sandra Holl's macarons are perfectly at home in Floriole's elegant pastry case alongside seasonal baked treats. They're light, airy, and full of delicate flavor, leagues beyond usual sugary versions.
- Simply astounding pastry! I have never been disappointed here!
- Cherry galette is wonderful!
- Insane croissant.
- Go in the morning for breakfast baguette sandwiches of roasted tomatoes and cheddar, or bacon, baked egg, pickled onions and cheese:
- Superb cakes, cream puffs, rustic sandwiches and insane brownies make this bakery crucial in Chicagos culinary scene. Evening hours bring opportunity to enjoy Holls creations with wine and beer.

- They make a badass croissant.
