One of Austin's oldest coffee shops, Flightpath is a student's paradise. The coffee is cheap but delicious, the baristas are friendly, the Wi Fi is free, and there are outlets everywhere. There's also a delicious menu of food items. Better be quick to grab a table, because people will come and claim them for hours at a time.

Tips

  • Go to Flightpath's back room to read/study. Shush all who dare speak aloud instead of tapping silently on their laptops.
  • Pretty unconventional place to study, but that's what makes it great. The environment is conducive to productivity.
  • Like the style. Retro dinette tables. Used to have more table top lamps now have gone to hanging fixtures. Like the mixmatched. Great coffee. Reasonable prices.
  • Phenomenal chai tea latte!
  • Great place to sit for hours and get work and/or studying done. Something about the environment is just super conducive to studying.
  • If youre thinking about coming here, do it, you wont regret it. From the outside, it looks like a dump, after i walked in, i couldnt stop smiling! Great floor layout, decor, nice covered patio, too!
  • Favorite coffee house in Austin. Actually has character and good coffee! There's parking in the back but i usually just park in the neighborhood.
  • Try the iced coconut latte. Sounds weird, but so good.
  • I am customer #0. Been coming here since before it opened when Terry H. had his new espresso machine and was still putting in the floors. Go here if you want quiet. No music or poetry - ever.
  • Sit and debate about Star Wars with your awesome boyfriend. Then stare at the ceiling art and drink coffee.
  • If you pay by cash, you get a discount.
  • Too college-y
  • Excelente te Chai!!! Excelent chai thea! ;) hello Austin! From Mxico!
  • Great place to study, but the parking lot is small so if you can take the bus do that. Their sandwiches are excellent and their never-ending cup of coffee is the best deal in Austin!
  • If you can find a seat it's great. Get here early, otherwise don't be afraid to ask if you can share a table :)
  • Enjoying the cool and breezy evening with @followingmarty
  • You have got to try the quiche. It's delicious. Nom nom nom.
  • Sit in the front room and mentally inventory their collection of black velvet paintings mounted on the ceiling.
  • Cheap coffee and food and beers, always quiet. Wifi bats like .385. Good for baseball, bad for studying.
  • Wireless fails like clockwork.
