Finnriver Cider has two killer pairing dinners coming up, one at The Kitchen at Middleground Farms in Wilsonville, Oregon and the other a collaborative pairing event with Fort George Brewery at The Brooklyn House in Portland. The Fancy Plants Dinner on Saturday January 24th in Wilsonville is with four plant-based courses paired with Finnriver Cider and the Beer.Cider.Love. pairing with Fort George beers is five course on February 12th.

Tim Ensign of Fort George Brewery and Jana Daisy-Ensign of Finnriver Farm & Cidery are honored to represent two of the regions finest craft beverage producers and be hosted at The Brooklyn House Restaurant for the second annual Beer.Cider.Love.

Beer.Cider.Love. dinner guests are invited to relax and enjoy an exquisite dining experience, sharing their evening with a couple whose passion for the craft beverage industry is contagious. Five locally sourced courses will be served and paired with Finnriver cider and Fort George beer.  The $65 ticket cost includes full meal, craft beverages and gratuity. Limited seating available. Dinner guests will be greeted with a ‘Finnriver Royale’ specialty cider cocktail– Finnriver’s Artisan Champagne-style cider with a splash of Finnriver Black Currant Brandywine, a Pacific Northwest twist on the classic Kir Royale.

Finnriver Artisan Sparkling Cider is crafted using the traditional, labor-intensive méthode champenoise, this bright, naturally carbonated brut champagne-style cider offers an effervescent apple bouquet, tart elements of the orchard, and a crisp, clean finish. 8% abv

Finnriver Black Currant Brandywine begins with a base of black currant wine to which Finnriver’s custom distilled apple brandy is then added, resulting in a rich and sumptuous dessert wine. 18.5% abv


Forest Ginger Cider & Parsnip Soup, Nigella Seed Biscuit

Finnriver Forest Ginger cider, our Fall seasonal blend, tastes like a walk through the orchard and in the woods.  A crisp cider with a bright apple core, earthy resinous notes and the warmth of crushed ginger for a hint of heat. Made from a base of organic Washington and heirloom apples with fir tips harvested from the forest at Finnriver and organic ginger.


Radicchio, Pear & Caviar Lentil Salad, Sparkling Pear Cider Dressing

Enjoy the brightness of this cider, made from heirloom and organic dessert apples, blended with the elegant sweetness and subtle delights of organic pear. A timeless taste of the orchard.


Fire Barrel Cider Braised Navy Bean Tempeh, Winter Greens & Vegetables, Polenta, Mushroom Purée

Finnriver Fire Barrel Cider 6.5% abv

Finnriver is honored to present master cidermaker Drew Zimmerman’s award-winning Fire Barrel cider.  Pressed from traditional bittersweet apples and aged in fire charred Kentucky bourbon barrels, this full-flavored cider offers a hint of whiskey, oak aroma, notes of caramel and vanilla, a lingering soft tannin finish.


Lemon Pudding Cake, Black Currant Cider Compote, Pine Nut Amaranth Crumble

Finnriver Black Currant Sparkling Cider 6.5% abv

A lovely cider, with a purple blush, that blends heirloom and organic dessert apples with the tart mysteries of organic black currant. Immensely drinkable.
