Tips
- Go at off hours.
- Full contact grocery shopping - use your elbows!
- Don't forget to check out the second floor; that's where the organic section and the cafe are.
- Shopping here is like shopping during an apocalypse, every day of the year.
- Have to have a pep talk to go in and headache medicine when I get home.
- A reliable breakfast spot on the Upper West Side that also serves a great lunch burger and hot fudge sundae.
- Don't forget the elbow pads.
- Forced to sit on uncomfortable bar chairs at a tiny bar table with plants basically in my face. Crammed near Customer Service. WAY too tight! Need more space! AC also turned up way too high.
- This is where normal people turn into wild animals.
- Maine Wild Blueberry Crisp Gelato is made with milk from Maine farms, blueberries from Down East, vanilla beans from Madagascar, and crunchy oat streusel baked in Brunswick.
- Beware the pies. No freshness dates. No marked prices. Mine had mold all over the bottom.
- very disorganized.ull wait in line foever wit da person behind u breathin down ya neck standin too close.checkout girls r nasty in every sence. But the fruit is fresh most of the time.
- Great produce selection and open until 1am. Shop late to avoid lines.
- Pay upstairs, less congested!
- Great produce, cheeses and seafood. -Carmen Gonzalez, Top Chef
- agree with others for going during off-hours to avoid getting hit by the leg with those carts. The newbies get so lost for not following the unspoken rule of finding the end of the register line...
- Line is fast moving
- Controlled chaos - great prepared foods, excellent produce and some pretty nice people too. A good grocery stop.
- It's usually super crowded and difficult to maneuver around crowds of people to find what you need.
- Complete unorganized with no leadership from the "supervisors". I'll be sticking to Trader Joe's.
