New Executive Chef to Lead Bubble Room Menu at J Vineyards & Winery
HEALDSBURG, Calif., Sept. 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- One of Sonoma County's iconic sparkling and varietal wine producers, J Vineyards & Winery has announced Carl Shelton as the new Executive Chef to lead the J culinary team in the design and execution of the tasting menu for the renowned Bubble Room, as well as other wine pairing options available on property.
Carl got his start in Chicago, where he attended Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts and apprenticed under many of the great chefs. Carl held the Chef de Cuisine at Boka restaurant in Chicago, which earned a Michelin star during his time there. He was also named on the Zagat "30 under 30 of the Culinary World" list, as well as a nomination for the 2012 Jean Banchet "Best Chef de Cuisine" while at Boka.
After seven years at Boka, Carl and his family moved to Northern California, where he worked at Healdsburg's Spoonbar restaurant and later under Chef Christopher Kostow at The Restaurant at Meadowood before joining J Vineyards.

The J Vineyards Bubble Room offers a one-of-a-kind experience in Sonoma County. Locally-produced, organic ingredients are crafted into a five-course menu specifically created to pair perfectly with J's latest small lot wine releases.

The J Vineyards Bubble Room is open Wednesday – Sunday with seatings available at 11 am, 12 pm, 2 pm, 3pm and 4 pm.
