  • You're supposed to get 3 mimosas or bloody marys with your entree, but it's basically all-you-can-drink and they do not mess around w/ the pours. Beware.
  • Come here if you love the sound of champagne bottles poppin'
  • Come here for brunch without a reservation and be prepared to stand for a long time. OpenTable is your friend.
  • Be sure to make brunch reservations here, as this place is always packed during the weekends. The brunch special is supposed to include three drinks with your meal, but really it's all you can drink.
  • Eating at Essex Restaurant is akin to eating a meal on an plane - your food will arrive roughly an hour into your excursion and taste like it was reheated in a microwave somewhere over Ohio.
  • This is my go-to spot for potato pancakes. (Everyone has a go-to potato pancake spot, right?) Especially with goat cheese and arugula.
  • With a $22.95 brunch special that gets you 3 Bloody Marys, Mimomas, or Screwdrivers, Essex is probably the best brunch deal in the city. Awesome for big groups.
  • drunk brunch = drunch
  • Um, endless cocktails during brunch makes any company you are with tolerable! Renee, Setup Squad
  • Try the Apple Chicken Sausage with brunch - it's amazing!
  • Don't wait for the $16 Mussels night on Tuesday. The everyday $10 portion is HUGE and mixed with a 1/2 price drink, you're in for an amazing dinner.
  • Get the burger and don't forget to order a fried egg on it!
  • If you camp long enough at your table for brunch, they give you drink tickets to leave! Yay!
  • Just 3 drinks with brunch? Are you kidding me? I didn't come here to pregame!
  • If you linger long enough at brunch they'll supply you with drink tickets for the bar as a bribe to leave.
  • Make a reso so you dont have to wait with crowd. Meh, been to btr brunch spots.
  • Must try: blood orange mojito, jalapeo margarita or the new pickled saint
  • Do yourself a huge favor. Just wait until Sundown Brunch (4pm-8pm) instead of trying to squeeze in there early. Same exact specials, a calmer wait staff and alot less noisy.
