Rachael Ray Says She Sent Rachel Roy A 'Big Bottle Of Wine And A Straw' To Deal With 'Becky' Accusations

In an interview with Us Weekly, Food Network star and daytime talk show host Rachael Ray revealed that she reached out to Rachel Roy during the infamous "Becky" scandal that came from Lemonade, the explosive visual album from Beyoncé.

To recap, Beyoncé alluded during the song "Sorry" that her husband, rapper Jay Z, had been unfaithful to her with a mysterious woman she called "Becky with the good hair."

Because of some heavily overanalyzed Instagram content, the singer's fans quickly singled out Macy's designer Rachel Roy as Becky — and just as quickly, some of her fans with poor reading comprehension mistook the target as Rachael Ray, a similarly named, but entirely different celebrity better known as the host of 30 Minute Meals.

Eventually, Beyoncé fans moved on after Roy denied ever having been involved with the rapper, but not before Roy and Ray had a chance to commiserate over the angry Internet attacks of a swarming Beyhive.

"Rachel [Roy] sent me flowers and I sent her a bottle," Ray told the magazine, "a big bottle of wine and a straw."
