Up Next For Issa Rae: A Cooking Show

Aspire TV has announced that they will be premiering Butter + Brown, a culinary series created and co-executive produced by Issa Rae.

You know Rae, 32, as the creator and star of HBO's Insecure, a dramedy series developed from one of her many web series projects on Youtube. According to Vibe, Aspire TV has announced that they will be premiering another one of Rae's online projects, the first season of her culinary show Butter + Brown. The former YouTube series features hosts Seth Brundle and Leslie Antonoff, and is co-executive produced by Rae and chef and television host G. Garvin. It will make its TV debut Oct. 3 at 8 p.m. ET.

Viewers can expect to see Brundle and Antonoff cooking up easy savory dishes and fun drinks while entertaining guests like rappers Rick Ross and David Banner, actor Larenz Tate, and The Chew host Carla Hall, all with Rae's unique comedy flair.

There is one other cooking show we are particularly looking forward to this fall: Martha and Snoop's Dinner Party.
