The evil queen suggests that apple pies are what makes the men's mouths water. She tells Snow White that it's a magic wishing apple. Lastly, Bert, Mary Poppins, Uncle, and the kids have tea while floating in the air by the ceiling and sing "I Love to Laugh."

Many years later, when Zero and Stanley were stranded in the desert as the result of breaking out of the detention camp, the two boys survived on Sam's wild onions and Kate's jars of peaches. Zero referred to the spiced peaches as Sploosh. The wild onions eventually saved the boys from starvation and from being attacked by poisonous yellow-spotted lizards who were averse to the onions.
