It’s only a week until Christmas, and everyone is starting to pile in for the holidays! Between wrapping presents, decorating the house, and cleaning everything, brainstorming dinners is probably the last thing on your mind.

Yet when the clock strikes six, you’ve got an entire army of relatives to feed! To help you brainstorm, The Daily Meal’s Editors have provided some of their favorite dishes to inspire this collective list of warming December dishes.

Bridget, our healthy eating editor, loves going home to grilled salmon with brussel sprouts, while Kate, our restaurant editor, craves her Mom’s linguini with clam sauce. Everyone has favorite dishes that are served around the holidays, when they finally get reunited with their families. Our recipes range from fancy quinoa-stuffed peppers offered by our associate editor, Joanna, to warming chili, a favorite of Kristen, our photo editor.

Here, then, are some of our dinner favorites, along with some dinner classics that everyone loves. Serve them to your family and friends as December — and 2015 — draw to a close.
