“The roof of Lolinda” in Spanish, El Techo offers two levels for dining and a chic rooftop terrace. Favorite dishes include the ensalada de Palmito, a salad consisting of hearts of palm, avocado, baby gems, and lime dressing, as well as an appetizer, ceviche de pescado, a starter made from ono, aji Amarillo, fried corn, and sweet potato.
Michael Bauer told Inside Scoop that he “loved the warming embrace of short ribs, stewed in tomato and saffron and served with carrots and other root vegetables.” Meesha Halm of Zagat called El Techo “a hip new late-night wood-fired grill-centric Argentinean steakhouse and small-plates hangout” with true California-style eats and seasoned mixologists.
