We are pretty stoked for Ecliptic Brewing and friend of The New School – Erin Grey Kemplin who can announce today that she is the new Ecliptic Sales Manager. One of Oregon’s favorite beer reps she spent time at Columbia Distributing before helming Stone Brewing Co.’s events and distribution for the last 4 years. She helped make Stone cool in Oregon. That’s not the only Ecliptic Brewing news as they are also planning a Seed focused or “themed” Lunation Dinner on February 3rd. Executive chef Michael Molitor’s menu will feature seeds in each course, including carne cruda with sesame and cocoa nib, as well as poppy seed panna cotta with candied kumquat. Each dish will be paired with specialty craft beers from brewmaster John Harris.
Ecliptic hosts its Lunation Dinners on the first Tuesday of every month, with the exception of August and January. Future dinners will take place on March 3, April 7, May 5, June 2, July 7, Sept. 1, Oct. 6, Nov. 3 and Dec. 1.

Ecliptic Brewing is a venture from John Harris, an Oregon beer icon whose background is steeped in the state’s rich craft brewing history. The name Ecliptic unites Harris’ two passions: brewing and astronomy, and as such, the brewery celebrates the Earth’s yearly journey around the sun through both its beer and restaurant menus. Executive chef Michael Molitor rotates his seasonally inspired menu every six weeks in accordance with the old world calendar. Harris’ signature seasonal beers include Spica Hefepils, Procyon Pale Ale, Phobos Extra Red Ale and Arcturus IPA. For more information, visit:www.eclipticbrewing.com.
