What MLB Players Really Eat (Slideshow)

This right-handed relief pitcher on the Rockies rocks out to Thai fried rice for his go-to take-out dish and mentions he doesn't really eat fast food. Belisle gives a hat tip to Chicago for the best foodie city and says a huge celebratory meal with teammates would be held at Cracker Barrel for breakfast or Texas de Brazil "since you can chow down."

Dee Gordon

Dodgers' second baseman Dee Gordon claims pork, beans and rice as the one dish he's a pro at cooking but when it comes to eating out in New York City, he can't resist Lombardi's pizza. This 2014 All-Star powers up on pizza and fries right before a game but there's one item you won't see this Dr. Pepper fan eat: Vegetables. "Can't stand 'em!"

Sonny Gray

Pho is the ethnic take-out dish of choice for Sonny Gray, right-handed pitcher for the Oakland A's, and when he's at a diner, cheeseburgers are his vice. Considering he's "not a big breakfast guy," Gray chomps on fruit for breakfast. While his go-to ballpark snack is nachos, his favorite late night snack, last meal on the planet and place to grab a bite in New York City all point to pizza.

Greg Holland

What does Kansas City Royals 2014 All-Star pitcher Greg Holland prefer in condiments? Mayonnaise. And if he's out celebrating a victory with teammates, Holland isn't picky. He quips, "Any steakhouse will do." While he tends to skip dessert, the righty picks up a mango and baby carrots when he's in fruit and vegetable mode.

Adam Jones

No stranger to food, Adam Jones, Baltimore Orioles' 2014 All-Star outfielder, appeared on MTV2's Off the Bat from the MLB Fan Cave to tour Baltimore restaurants and participate in their doughnut derby. Jones chomps on namesake AJ10 Burger at the Abbey Burger Bistro in Charm City. Carne asada fries and chocolate ice cream are among his prized provisions. The pre-game watermelon fan explains: "No sprinkles...I would add chocolate sauce, whipped cream and strawberries!"

Dallas Keuchel

Lefty pitcher for the Houston Astros, Dallas Keuchel, makes a mean grilled cheese in the cucina but when he's on the road, he enjoys Seattle's fresh fish the most. The Astros' ace can't live without Cherry Pepsi, opts to order chicken fingers as his diner comfort food, avoids anchovies at all costs and eats five meals a day during the season "to keep my weight up."

Evan Longoria

Tampa Bay Rays' third baseman Evan Longoria typically eats an omelet for breakfast but when it comes to the one beverage he can't live without, that would be water. Claiming In-N-Out as his numero uno fast food burger, his favorite food town is New York City. When Longo's in the big apple, STK Steakhouse is definitely on the agenda. As for his steaks? This slugger prefers them medium rare.

Andrew McCutchen

When the 2013 National League MVP and 2014 All-Star center fielder Andrew McCutchen cooks at home, he's a real pro at whipping up shepherd's pie. While this Pittsburgh Pirate starts the day with French toast and ends it with Nestle's Buncha Crunch if he reaches for a late night bite, when he's at a diner, Cutch is all about the spaghetti with meat sauce.

David Ross

Ask David Ross, Boston Red Sox catcher, about his favorite ballpark food and he'll quickly reply, "A Dodger dog." As for his go-to late night snack? His sweet tooth savors freshly-baked oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. This reigning World Series champ would devour an old-fashioned feast as his last meal. "My mom's pot roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, creamed corn, white acre peas, corn bread, sweat tea and warm blackberry cobbler with ice cream. Mmmmmmmm!"

Kyle Seager

Seattle Mariners' Kyle Seager says El Gaucho or John Howie Steak in Seattle and Bellevue, respectively, are his top restaurants to celebrate victories with teammates; he likes his steaks medium. Powering up before games, the 2014 All-Star third baseman rocks out to the team chef's sandwich: chicken, bacon and avocado. Regarding treats, this Mariner opts for apple pie over cheesecake or chocolate cake; as for ice cream, you'll see him ordering chocolate ice cream, hold the sprinkles.
