This Olive Garden Is Charging $400 a Plate for New Year's Eve Dinner

Happy New Year's from Olive Garden! The restaurant's Time Square location is charging $400 a plate for New Year's Eve dinner. If you want to upgrade and pay $800 dollars at Bubba Gump, it claims to have one of the best views of the ball drop. But some say this may be worth it; along with a view of the ball drop, Olive Garden patrons will also have an unlimited buffet, open bar, and a DJ. Although this does seem a little pricey for a chain restaurant, some people will do just about anything to experience New Year's Eve in Times Square.

Woman Arrested for Drinking Wine, Eating Rotisserie Chicken While Riding Shopping Cart Around Walmart

And Josseleen López, a woman in Florida, was arrested this weekend after she was found in a local Walmart drinking a bottle of wine and eating food from the shelves, all while riding a motorized shopping cart. Surveillance footage of her exploits showed the shoplifter eating sushi, mini muffins, and cinnamon rolls, as well as most of a rotisserie chicken. In total, López, who told authorities that she is homeless, is estimated to have consumed around $32 worth of food. Police, who also found syringes in López's possession, subsequently arrested her on shoplifting and drug paraphernalia charges. She is being held on $1,000 bond.

Taco Restaurant Turns Burglars into Internet Stars

Another burglary that took place is getting a much different reaction. A break in and burglary is usually no laughing matter, but Las Vegas restaurant Frijoles & Frescas has turned the tables. After being robbed late at night, the restaurant created a marketing ad mocking the criminals using video surveillance footage that was collected the night of the incident. The resulting video, Burglars Just Want Tacos, has over three million views. The video also provides photos of the burglars as captured on the surveillance cameras and asks anyone with information to contact the Las Vegas Metro Police Department.  At the end of the video, the restaurant invites customers to "come find out why they wanted our tacos so badly."

That's today's Daily Dish, thanks for watching. Stop by tomorrow for another helping.
