Weeks after being seriously threatened by floodwaters, the Farnsworth House, a modernist masterpiece in Chicago’s far southwest suburbs, will reopen for public tours Wednesday, with a temporary exhibit devoted to its often-overlooked namesake — the late Chicago kidney doctor Edith Farnsworth.
