Chick-Fil-A Employee Honors Veterans With Stirring Rendition Of 'God Bless The USA'

On Veteran's Day, a Chick-fil-A employee in Kansas City, Missouri, thanked America's current and former members of the armed forces by performing a moving rendition of Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA."

The employee, Dontarius Young, sang for veterans and customers during the restaurant's busy lunch hour. His impassioned performance was recorded by a bystander, Frances West. The footage went viral shortly after.

On his Facebook, Young expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of support and praise. "Wow! I am truly overwhelmed!" Young wrote on his Facebook page. "I have always been very patriotic and have always loved to sing! The fact that God's favor is being shown to me and in such an apparent way, literally leaves me speechless! 1,000,000 views! Thank you all so much! Im so excited to see what is in store and I am very grateful to have been blessed with so many beautiful and loving people in my life! It's only up from here, I still believe!!!"

Young has also performed during the 57th presidential inauguration for President Barack Obama with his chorus group, the Lee University Festival Choir.
