Belly Wine Bar Launches Sunday Brunch In Boston's Kendall Square

Belly Wine Bar is one of the go-to spots in Kendall Square. Whether it is for a pre-dinner drink, a bite or five of charcuterie, or post-meal cheese and wine, the team at Belly is ready for anything.

Proving this statement true, this month marks the launch of their Sunday brunch program. Sunday mornings, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., experience an atypical, distinctly "Belly" brunch. This means copious amounts of wine, from rosé, to red, to white; and boards featuring house-cured meats, fish, soft cheeses, and pickled eggs. Even the more traditional items get an unconventional twist – take their mushroom ragout with giant lima beans, roasted pearl onions, and a heavenly poached egg, or their beef heart tartine with pickled lime and black garlic aioli.

If you are in the mood for something sweeter, definitely take in their monkey bread, or their brioche French toast with house eggnog and a torched banana.

Finish off with a micro-brew or Equal Exchange espresso from Seattle, and don't forget to peruse their wine stash in the back. Make a reservation ahead of time, and in case there's a wait, they have a fire pit up and running, so there's no chance of ever feeling left out in the cold.
