Foursquare Tips

  • OK the food is excellent! The service is horrible :( The Dukem in D.C. has it all together but for us here in Baltimore this will do
  • Get the beef tibs and one of the veggie combos, it'll come all together on a big platter to share. Don't skip the injera pancake on the bottom, it's the best part!
  • I love the Vegetarian lunch special. Enough food for 2 meals.
  • Absolutely LOVE their veggie platter. Arrive hungry! Not BYOB, so the drink choices aren't so hot.
  • Authentic Ethopian, more than enough to share! And you get to eat with your hands.
  • Everything is wonderfully seasoned and fresh; the portions are generous and the service is wonderful. This place does not disappoint. This is also a great place to get good quality kitfo--try it :)
  • The smell is awful.it stinks in here, literally :/. It was so bad we had to change the order to takeout
  • It was awful! None of the women speak English so communication is impossible. I ordered a salad with just tomatoes and they brought me a bowl of diced tomatoes -__- I was over it
  • Great food. Horrible service.
  • try the lunch buffet - cabbage, split peas, lentils, greens, salad, as well as some meat dishes like doro wat... yum!
  • Great place. Great food. Great people
  • Get leftovers packaged in a take-out container in the injera, creating what we like to call the "Ethiopian Burrito."
  • Lunch specials are the best!
  • the waitresses are iffy depending on the mood but the veggie meals are great... and the fish is friend to perfection. the samosas are a bit pricey though
  • Standard tips is good.
  • Be adventurous while still enjoying comfort food!
  • Special tibs in lamb are great. Go on Sundays for lunch and try fresh roasted Ethiopian coffee and baklava.
