Mendocino’s Winesong Wine and Food Festival and Charity Auction Celebrates 32nd Year

The annual event featuring wine, food, and music benefits Mendocino Coast District Hospital

Winesong, the premier charity auction and food and wine event in California’s Mendocino wine region, returns for the 32nd year Sept. 9 and 10. Festivities start with a Pinot Noir Celebration at the Little River Inn in Little River, south of the town of Mendocino on the Pacific Coast, on Friday. The event continues the following day with a Grand Tasting at the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, south of Fort Bragg, while enjoying the best from world-class breweries, distilleries, and, above all, wineries in Mendocino, Napa, Sonoma, and beyond, along with bites from nearly 50 area food purveyors. Jazz, calypso, folk rock, and other music will accompany the proceedings.

This year’s honored winery is the Napa Valley cult cabernet producer Grace Family Vineyards. The celebration continues with the Winesong Charity Auction featuring more than 200 lots of rare vintage wines, original art, and getaway packages to Tuscany, South Africa, Spain, and other places. Proceeds benefit the Mendocino Coast District Hospital.
