The Best New Bars: The 2013 Spirited Awards Winners Slideshow

Clover Club, Brooklyn, N.Y.

Not only was Clover Club recognized as the Best American Cocktail Bar, but famed owner Julie Reiner was named as the best "bar mentor" as well.

The Dead Rabbit, New York City

The newcomer to the cocktail scene swept the Spirited Awards at Tales this year. After being open for only five months, Belfast barmen Sean Muldoon and Jack McGarry won three Spirited Awards; "World's Best New Cocktail Bar," "World's Best Cocktail Menu" and "International Bartender of the Year." The third award is especially noteworthy since McGarry, at 24, is the youngest bartender to have achieved this level of recognition and achievement.

Drink, Boston

Drink is a noted favorite among Boston cocktail lovers — and now, the world. Drink earned the coveed title of the World's Best Cocktail Bar.

The NoMad Hotel, New York City

Winner of the Best Hotel Bar, it's clear to see why: the whiskey library at The NoMad is considered one of the best in New York City.

Saxon + Parole, New York City

The upscale American restaurant has a legendary bar to match; led by bartender Naren Young, the bar was named the Best Restaurant Bar. (We could show you the bar, but we'd rather look at the bartenders.)

The Aviary, Chicago

The Aviary keeps racking in the accolades; this time, Charles Joly was named the American Bartender of the Year. (And with drinks like a molecular Piña Colada, we can understand why.)

Canon: Whiskey and Bitters Emporium, Seattle

A newcomer to the Seattle cocktail scene, Canon: Whiskey and Bitters Emporium took home the title of the World's Best Drink Selection.
