12 Beach Bars With The Best Views Around The World (Slideshow)

12. Pirates Bight, Norman Island

This island was the basis for Robert Lewis Stevenson's Treasure Island; now it's home to a private resort with a beautiful bar that features clear views of both the shoreline and 610 acres of uninhabited island.

11. Ty Coch Inn, Wales

The humble inn on the beautiful beach made waves when it was recently voted one of CheapFlights' Best Beach Bars in the World. However, on closer inspection, it's easy to see why the world is warming up to this place. The quaint bar (which used to be a vicarage) is nestled into green hills and has clear views of nearby Yr Eifl and Snowdonia. Not every great view has to be tropical!

10. Experimental Beach, Ibiza

This bar has a more laid-back, rustic vibe than many of Ibiza's party-heavy hot spots, but that doesn't mean you can't get beachside bottle service. Plus, it boasts gorgeous views of rolling hills and the glittering Mediterranean. Condé Nast Traveller insists that this newcomer to the Ibiza party scene is not to be missed.

9. Carpe Diem Bar, Hvar

If you're in the mood for a party, you could do worse than a dance floor lit by candelabras with stunning views of the beautiful Adriatic Sea. Perhaps that's why The Guardian named this spot one of the most beautiful beach bars in Europe.

8. Overwater Bar, Maldives

Okay, this one might be cheating, because this bar is built out from the beach and sits atop stilts in the middle of a blue lagoon. But just let us have this one because the panoramic sea view is absolutely stunning.

7. Uncle Roddy’s Beach Bar & Grill, Barbuda

On a clear day, travelers can see Montserrat, Antigua, St. Kitts, and Nevis in the distance from the patio at Uncle Roddys. Couple that with the fact that Uncle Roddy himself used to serve Barbuda Smashes to Princess Diana, and it's easy to see why Condé Nast Traveller named this spot one of the best in the Caribbean.

6. Theros Wave Bar, Santorini

This bar is nestled into the white volcanic rocks of Vlychada with breathtaking ocean views. A glass of champagne on its elegant stone deck just might just prove the siren song that keeps you on the island forever.

5. The Rock Bar, Bali

The Jetset Times calls The Rock Bar, which is softly lit by Tiki torches and perched atop a rocky beach, "irresistible and gorgeous". The sound of waves crashing against the shore coupled with cold cocktails is pretty close to perfection.

4. Ponta Dos Ganchos, Brazil

Fodor's gives this romantic bar points for its remoteness, unobstructed ocean views, and, most importantly, having some of the best cachaça (or sugarcane liquor) cocktails around.

3. Moonshadows, Malibu

If you're looking for a sandy beach view, look somewhere else. Moonshadows offers a dramatic view of the Pacific from a deck built right into the rocky cliffs overhanging the ocean. You'll feel like you're in an episode of Remington Steele. If you're still not sold, both Wine Spectator and Town & Country love this beautiful bar.

2. Basil’s Bar, The Grenadines

If it's good enough for CNN Travel and Mick Jagger, then it's good enough for us. Seriously, this bar tucked at the edge of the island where beach meets jungle has one of the best tropical views in the world, which is why a wide range of the world's elite come here to have cocktails with the locals.

1. Baba Nest, Phuket

Okay, again, this bar isn't so much on the beach as above it. It's a giant deck built into an infinity pool that offers a bird's eye view of the sea and surrounding islands — perfect for a sunset cocktail. It's no wonder that everyone from ABC News to CNN raves about this place.
