Tips

  • Part Thai, part Vietnamese, Doi Moi is pleasure. Mark Kuller (Proof, Estadio) and chef Haidar Karoum returned from Southeast Asia to create flavors that some foodists compare to Little Serow.
  • Love everything (lemongrass beef & peanut cocktails) but the service
  • Order the Spicy Fried Cashews as soon as you sit down. They'll give you something delicious to munch while you're perusing the menu.
  • Food is good, but portions are tiny.
  • Homemade noodles here
  • The Gaeng par hed, or wild mushroom curry, is a vegan dish with tender chunks of lemongrass and fresh green peppercorns.
  • Doi Moi serves dishes like khao soi gai (chicken and noodle curry) and other regional dishes from Thailand and Vietnam. The decor is primarily white, with accents brought back from Asia.
  • Meh. We will be ordering pizza soon.
  • Halibut was good but extremely spicy. The lemongrass beef is a decent main portion size and solid, traditional and I would order again. Pork collar skewer was excellent
  • Expensive small plates. Bring lots of money.
  • The flavors (spice!) are there. Just wish it wasn't 12-15 bucks a pop for small plates
  • Delicious! Loved the very spicy duck salad & chicken curry. Noodles made in-house and you can tell! Very reasonable wine prices. Can't wait to go back.
  • New Southeast Asian/Thai/Vietnamese restaurant from the group behind Proof and Estadio.
  • Their green mango salad is a must try. If youre one of the people who are rational enough to not be scared of whole fish, try their crispy snapper with that sticky rice!!
  • Basil fried rice
  • Absolutely love this place great Thai spicy food. East Asian gin & tonic, pork buns, short rib curry, and noodles were big hits
  • The wok fried cashews are yummy and the happy hour is pretty great.
  • Thai fried beef jerky is heavenly.
  • Can't go wrong with the Brussels sprouts, Thai jerky, and of course the Bronzino.
  • Great zucchini blossoms n herb aioli. Bigger dish is garlic scapes w poached egg. Great wine list for such a cafe.
