Tips

  • Put your name down before you go shopping.
  • Save space for dessert. Sweet taro XLB. Taro lover heaven.
  • Amazing dumplings there is a reason they have a Michelin star. What's even more supervising is their prices very reasonable especially for OC. You really can't go wrong with any choice - even vegan
  • There is no big options for us since we don't eat pork but the shrimps fried rice, spicy noodles and chicken dumplings were good, service was quick although the place was crazy busy.
  • Must get the spicy wontons
  • Surprisingly delicious noodle soups!!! And Dimsum of cause!!!!
  • French Black Truffle and Pork XLB is truly decadent and a nice variation to their rich Pork XLB!
  • They take waiting list names until closing and stay open until everyone is served!
  • Xiao long bao, steamed dumplings, chicken pot stickers, won ton in spicy sauce
  • Xiao long bao, spicy won ton, and shredded pork and pickle noodle soup are my favorite dishes here.
  • DTF in different regions have different variation in menu. Truffles XLB and stir-fried kale is the gem in South Coast. However, Pork XLB, Fried Rice, and Chicken Soup are the must-get items in all DTF
  • 22 minute wait for bar seating on a Wednesday at 8pm! Not bad at all! :)
  • Excellent bok choy and cucumbers and pork soup dumplings. Regular chicken dumplings were lacking as was the shu mai. Line is crazy long - check in on yelp!
  • Come early or be prepared for a very long wait
  • The chicken dumplings and the chicken boneless soup are fantastic
  • Un lugar para disfrutar la deliciosa comida oriental, la estrella de la corona es los Dumplings, la magia est en ver como los preparan y sirven, el arroz frito tambin es un imperdible
  • See if you can get on the waitlist via Yelp. If not, brace yourself for a 1hr+ wait. Once seated, get the XLB, pork chop, shrimp fried rice, hot and sour soup, potstickers, and beef noodle soup
  • Crab and pork soup dumplings were good not great...same critiques as the pork ones. Good burst of crab flavor to the soup and filling. 3.5/5
  • Pork soup dumplings were good, but not great; lost its excellence/wow factor over the years. The skin was a bit tough, not much of the tasty soup, and the filling was good. 3.5/5
  • Spicy wontons werent very spicy and very garlicky instead. Wontons themselves were decent. Everything here is overpriced, so value plays a big factor. 2.5/5
