Tips

  • Never disappointed. Great food, drink, and service. Don't leave without the Creme Brulee.
  • Love this place. Right on Jackson square. Great turtle soup, gumbo and BBQ shrimp. Avoid the blackened chicken sandwich. No seasoning and smothered in mayo
  • Mmmm, the duck and andouille gumbo was perfection. A beautiful restaurant with a great, simple menu.
  • Crepe du jour is good starter. Filet mignon and frites is done just right. Got a side grits which was a good call. Very smooth and a little spicy.
  • We are at Kingfish, Red Fish Grill, Doris Metropolitan & Willie Mae's. Most passable w/ the first two just disgusting. Dickie Brennan saved New Orleans for my wife & I.
  • The bacon wrapped oysters are amazaballs!
  • Chef Ben Thibodeauxs dishes put modern twists on French-Creole classics, such as truffle-marinated crab claws and rosemary-skewered oysters en brochette. YUM!
  • Beautiful balcony against Jackson Square
  • Great place to have cocktails. Had brunch here and it was just okay. Staff very friendly and attentive.
  • What an afternoon. Great service at the bar. Bartender and assistant were outstanding.
  • Everything is amazing! We had the crab claws and gnocchi for appetizers and fish curry for main. Outstanding dishes! Highly recommend this place. Also, if you can, eat on the terrace
  • Gumbo and gumbo
  • A very decent restaurant great for your date or anything romantic everything is just great with this place!
  • They don't fuck around with their Sunday brunch
  • The crab and asparagus soup special is delicious if it's on offer!
  • The Sunday Jazz brunch is the best!
  • Delicious cocktails! The shrimp and grits were also amazing. Loved it.
  • Good air conditioning. Good food. Lunch specials are very good value.
  • I was a little disappointed with the seafood gumbo we had heard so many good things. Pimms cup was tasty but our sundae didn't make it to us until it was already melted.
  • Their desserts are succulent. Especially the creme brle and the tarte la bouille.
