Tips

  • Try the crunchy purani delhi ki papri chaat, composed of a layer of fried wheat discs piled with chickpeas and diced potatoes. Its one of our #100best dishes and drinks of 2011.
  • 5 stars! One of the best Indian meals I've ever had. A MUST try. Can't wait to go back
  • The lunch buffet is great and very affordable!
  • Best bang-for-your buck Indian lunch buffet in Curry Hill. Also, unlike the South Indian places in the hood, it's not exclusively vegetarian.
  • Go to Dhaba at lunchtime for delicious Indian buffet in a setting you won't be embarrassed to bring your friends and guests to.
  • Chef curry with the pot boi
  • Located in Curry Hill (South of Murray Hill on Lex), this amazing little gem never disappoints. It's one of the hipper spots on lower Lex and the dishes are delish! Try the Chicken Tikka Masala, YUM!
  • Lamb was awesome. Make sure they keep it on the rare side!
  • Lamb rhogan josh is excellent.
  • Get the butter paneer. Kind of an unexpectedly loud atmosphere for an indian restaurant but it was awesome. The music made me want to dance. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu)
  • Great Indian, horrible service. Still, the food's good enough we keep coming back
  • Try the garlic naan
  • The chicken tikka masala, pretty damn good.
  • Come for the lunch buffet. Off the chain.
  • Incredibly good lunch buffet. Relatively cheap.
  • Chicken tikka masala was perfect. Daal was a bit to spicy for us,but good enough.Generally food was not so spicy that Europeans cant handle.Good rice pudding.1of the best Indian restaurant I had been.
  • The lunch buffet is totally worth it. The saag paneer and chicken tikka masala were great!
  • Authentic northern Indian food! Get a bunch of things to share. Really hard to go wrong.
  • Go for the chicken tikka masala...
  • The service can be a little slow, but let your waiter know the flavors you like and let him pick. Great stuff.
