Tips

  • Please don't sleep on the steak fries! They're amazing!
  • ask about the rude jokes on the back of some of the 30's newspaper clippings out front
  • This was one of the best steaks I've ever had. Perfectly charred on the outside and cut it with a butter knife tender. The flavor is bomb. Get the Rib-eye or Filet Mignon
  • The ribeye I had @ DeStefano's was leaps & bounds above the one I had @ Peter Luger. Perfection. Great atmosphere. A must-visit if you find yourself in W'Burg wanting to satisfy a carnivorous craving.
  • Try the pre-fixe; it's a bargain.
  • ask bout the rude jokes on the back of some of the 1930's newspaper clippings out front
  • Old school, cozy atmosphere with warm, friendly staff. Definitely a must when you ask "Steak knives?" And the response is "You definitely don't need steak knives." That's how tender this place is. Yum
  • The service is definitely lacking and the food is mediocre if you're used to high end flavors. I will not be back here again.
  • The short rib rolls are delicious.
  • Try the truffle home fries.
  • Best Filet Mignon in Brooklyn.
  • Ribeye and Iceberg wedge. That is all.
  • If youre lucky, DeStefano himself will wait on you. You must try the Filet Mignon its part of the Prix Fixe menu!
  • The juicest porterhouse ever! Very cozy and frendly spot.
  • Crab cakes and everything
  • The best steakhouse in Brooklyn, and its not close. How DeStefanos is ranked on the best steakhouses list behind restaurants that dont even specialize in steak is beyond me. This is #1.
  • Porterhouse steak and homefries was delicious!
  • Bacon to die for
  • Brunch (had Eggs Florentine )was absolutely delicious! Service is great and the ambiance is very pleasant.
  • Filet! So good!
